This antique 10 gauge shotgun would make for a great "winter project"; it could also be displayed above the fireplace.
This old side by side features a homemade replacement stock. This is typical of Confederate-used shotguns, but we'll let the gun's new owner decide what the gun's "history".
The right lock holds solid on both full and half cock, but the left lock is quite worn and holds unreliably.
The barrel are dark inside and out and appear to have been re-soldered at some point.
