Here's a great musket for a reenactor who wants something "different". This Belgian-made smoothbore musket is in decent condition and is all original.
The hammer holds solid on both full and half cock. The hammer cup is slightly chipped, but this won't effect the musket's functionality.
The stock is solid with a few areas of chips missing from the forend.
The barrel appears to have been shortened by about an inch. But the .69 caliber bore is in good condition with minimal pitting.
This musket was stamped with Confederate markings sometime during the 20th Century. This was likely done by a reenactor
There is no rarmrod, but other than that the musket is complete and original.
