Here's a great English side-by-side shotgun in great, shootable condition. This 10 gauge monster features a set of 35" barrels making it fairly rare. It was made by George Newton - a Birmingham gunmaker. It features a walnut stock with no cracks or splits and a very pleasing patina.
Both locks feature great engraving without any pitting. Both hammers hold solid on full and half cock. Each hammer has a very slight bit of discernible wobble but still function without issue.
The barrels are in very good condition, and ring like a bell when struck - a great indicator that the ribs are sound. The bores are surprisingly nice for a percussion double with very little light rust and minimal pitting.
This is a great shotgun with a lot of life left in it for less than half the price of an Italian Reproduction!
