This flintlock pocket pistol is in excellent condition. It is a box lock action with a "center hung" cock. It is unmarked with the exception of its proof marks; which are English. These pistols were very popular "concealed carry" weapons in the late 18th and early 19th Century.
The cock holds solid on both full and half cock. The frizzen spring is crisp. The foldable trigger drops down into the firing position and full cock; as it should. The unique breech loading barrel isn't frozen like many muff pistols from the era, and unscrews with ease.
The original walnut grip is in excellent condition with no splits or cranks.
