Here's a great, all original mid 19th Century percussion 12 gauge shotgun made by "W. Morse & Co" of London.
This shotgun was very well cared for and appears to be in very fireable condition. The English walnut stock is in great shape with no cracks or splits and very sharp hand-cut checkering on the wrist.
Both locks feature light "English style" scroll engraving. Both hammer locks up solid on both full and half cock.
Both nipples are in great shape with good square shoulders which should be easy to remove for cleaning. The 30" barrels are very nice and "W. Morse & Co" can be found engraved on the top rib. Both bores are good with no rust and minimal surface pitting.
