5/16 x 18 Easy Clean

Looking for an inventive way to clean your musket without damaging the stock or taking the time to remove the barrel? Well look no further! This 5/16 x 18 Easy Clean system makes cleaning a musket barrel quick and easy. Simply remove the nipple from the barrel of your P1853 Enfield (original or Parker Hale) and install the threaded portion of the Easy Clean in it's place. Then place the other end of the tube in a bucket of your favorite cleaning solution. Next, using a cleaning rod equipped with a patch drum and a tight fitting patch, simply swab out the bore. The suction and action of the cleaning rod inside the barrel will draw cleaning solution through the Easy Clean and into the barrel. This method is extremely effective because it allows you to clean not only the barrel but the breech and bolster at the same time.
