Description

Here's a great looking custom under hammer rifle built by renowned machinist and rifle maker Brian Haack. Brian built this rifle in the 1980's and used it for both hunting and competition.

Brian custom fabricated many of the components on this rifle; including the American Walnut butt stock and the receiver.

The rifle is in very good shape. It features a 36" .50 caliber rifled barrel in very good condition with no rust or pitting in the bore.

This slender rifle weighs in at only 8 lbs 3 oz. and measure about 52" in length. The length of pull is 13 1/4".

The hammer holds solid on both full and half cock and the rifle features a traditional "lacquered brown" finish similar to they types of finishes that were applied to M1841 Mississippi rifles.

This beautiful rifle is sure to be a joy to shoot both at the range and in the field!
