This revolver will truly be the crown jewel of any Confederate kit. This .44 caliber pistol is stamped "MACON GA CSA" on the top barrel flat. . A letter "D" inspector stamp in also stamped on the major parts. It was also finished in period correct "fire bluing" just like original CS revolvers. The handles have been re-profiled to their original taper and stained and varnished.
This revolver is a nice representative sample of the rare Confederate revolvers built by small, privately owned shops, in the CS arms manufacturing center of Macon GA. Many of these revolvers can be seen listed in William Albaugh III's book CONFEDERATE HANDGUNS. This pistol was defarbed and reworked by Steve Krolick of Novelty Ordinance.
