Description

This Pietta 1836 Colt Paterson was defarbed and lightly aged by a previous owner The modern markings have been removed, the grips were re-shaped and refinished and the whole pistol was lightly patined to give the gun a real "carried" look.

The action is very good and reliable - the cylinder locks up tight on both full and half cock. The lock up is nice and tight with minimal cylinder wobble.

The barrel and chambers have no major rust or pitting inside or out and the rifling is very good.

Included with this pistol is a custom "Slim Jim" holster which fits the gun very well.
