Description

This custom Tulle de Chasse is ready for the battlefield, or hunting ground. This handsome French and Indian War era musket was custom built using all American-made parts and is in excellent condition.

The lock was made by RE Davis Co. and was cast off of an original Tulle lock to provide a great spark and fast ignition. The cock holds solid on both full and half cock.

The barrel was made by Colerain and is .58 caliber smoothbore, measuring at 42" in length. The bore is excellent with no rust or pitting.

The lock, barrel, and all the rest of the furniture is American-made and polished "armory bright" to match the lock and barrel.

The stock is walnut and is nicely shaped with no damage and only some minor handling marks.

This musket would be a perfect choice for any shooter or reenactor. The Fusil's De Chasse's prominence in the American Colonies makes it an excellent choice for an American minute man impression. This custom gun is priced at a little less than a stock mass-produced Italian reproduction, making it a no-brainer.
