Description
This beautiful Leech and Rigdon revolver was painstakingly reworked by Steve Krolick of Novelty Ordinance. It features a plain .36 caliber cylinder and a turned round barrel, giving it the proper taper of original guns. The top barrel flat is stamped "LEECH & RIGDON CSA" in period correct block letters.
All major parts are stamped with serial number "974" and the trigger guard even bears the Leech and Rigdon enigmatic "window pane" inspector's stamp. Leech and Rigdon revolvers were built in Greensboro, GA from 1863 to early 1864. About 1500 were made during this time.
The markings on originals varied to some extent but this particular replica has the most commonly found marks on it. The gun was also patined, giving it a well used look.
This beautiful revolver is presented in a handsome fitted mahogany case, which includes all the accessories required to shoot it.
The accessories include: a powder flask, bullet mold, Elley Bros cap tin, and about a dozen period correct paper revolver cartridges!
