Custom M1863 Remington "Zouave"

Here's a great custom gun for a reenactor or shooter. This M1863 Remington "Zouave" was built on a custom Walnut stock, Bob Hoyt barrel, and an original lock and furniture. 

The lock is in great shape with a some light pitting but good markings. The lock is all original and has a great half and full cock and a smooth action. The stock was very nicely shaped and has no cracks or splits. 

The barrel was made by Bob Hoyt and has no rust or pitting inside or out. The bore is nice and crisp with excellent rifling. The rear sight was made by Rich Cross, and is full machined. The front sight is a tall shooter sighted in for 100 yds. 

The furniture is all original and in great shape. The ramrod is a reproduction.
