Custom Tulle De Chasse Modified for Militia Service

This custom Tulle de Chasse is ready for the battlefield, or hunting ground. This handsome French and Indian War era musket was custom built using all American-made parts and is in excellent condition. 

The lock was cast off of an original Tulle lock and provides a great spark and fast ignition. The cock holds solid on both full and half cock. 

The barrel was made by Colerain and is 20 gauge, measuring at 44" in length. The bore is excellent with no rust or pitting.

The lock, barrel, and all the rest of the furniture was nicely rust-browned to provide a rust resistant finish. 

The stock is maple and is nicely shaped with no damage and only some minor handling marks. This musket was set of for militia service and has had its forestock cut back and sight remounted to allow for clearance in the installation of a military socket bayonet. This makes it ideal for an American militia impression from the French and Indian all the way through the War of 1812. Also for military service is the addition of period correct French sling swivels.

This musket would be a perfect choice for any shooter or reenactor. The Fusil's De Chasse's prominence in the American Colonies makes it an excellent choice for an American minute man impression. This custom gun is priced comparable to Italian musket, making it a no-brainer.
