Description

This M1817 is in excellent coniditon. It features a beautiful stock with no cracks or chips. It's only real flaw is a small cosmetic repair near the tang, but this piece matches very well.

The lock appears to be a reconversion back to flint using original parts. The lock functions well and the cock holds solid on both full and half cock.

The barrel is full length and the bore is absolutely perfect with wonderfully crisp rifling and no rust or pitting.

The furniture is all original and matching.
