Description
Potsdam's don't get much nicer than this. This M1809 conversion musket is in excellent condition.
The lock is near mint and features most of its original color case hardened finish. The lock plate markings are crisp and legible. The hammer holds solid on both full and half cock.
The stock is in excellent condition with only a few minor handling marks and no cracks or splits. Like most other Potsdam muskets, this musket's stock is covered original stock inspector cartouches. All of which are very sharp and crisp.
The barrel is in great shape inside and out. There is no pitting around the breech, and the bore is nice and bright with only a few areas of very light rust.
All the furniture is original and matching. The ramrod is full length.
Included with this musket is an original bayonet which fits the gun perfectly.
