Here's a great civilian model Lefacheaux revolver in 9mm pinfire. Most of the Lefacheaux pinfires were made in Belgium or France, but this particular example appears to have been made in Germany, judging by its lack of proof marks (of all the European countries to produce Lefacheaux revolvers, Germany was the only manufacturer who did no require compulsory proof testing on gun's made for the civilian market and would not adopt a policy of mandatory proof testing until 1891 - well after the era of pinfire production).

This revolver is in very good condition with an even natural patina covering all the metal surfaces and no areas of major rust or pitting. The action works flawlessly and all the parts are original (including the ejector rod - a rare feature for a pinfire revolver; as these pieces were quite delicate and often found missing on other original guns).

The gun features beautiful engraving on the frame and barrel as well as wonderful scallop carving and fine checkering on the grips.

The bore and chambers are good with nice rifling and only some areas of "light frosting"; found primarily in the grooves of the rifling.

Another notable feature is the fact that an identical revolver can be found photographed on pg. 56 of David Miller's book Ultimate Handguns.
