Here's a good Leman-converted M1816 Springfield. This musket is all original (with the exception of a reproduction nipple) and would be a great choice for a reenactor who wants an original flintlock conversion 1816 without having to risk his safety to a cone-in-barrel conversion.
This musket features a nice stock with crisp edges and and good legible cartouches. There are no cracks or damage anywhere; only some minor burnout behind the nipple.
The lock holds solid on both full and half cock and the original Springfield marks are good and legible.
The barrel is full length. The bore is good with one area of light rust about 10" from the muzzle.
The furniture is all original and matching including the ram rod; which is full length.
