Description

Merrill Navy Rifle Saber Bayonet in good condition. Blade is 25 1/4" long with an even salt and pepper patina. Along the middle of the blade are a few small chinks. A deep, legible 1861 stamp is located near the base of the blade. The brass handle retains a legible "G" sub-inspector mark and a serial number of 3384. The tension spring for the bayonet lug is intact and actuates.
