Description
Excellent condition full length original stock for the Model 1866 Second Allin .50-70 conversion musket. This stock is also correct for a Springfield Model 1864 musket, considering the 2nd Allins were built from converted Model 1864s, and there were no major modifications done during the conversion process that are visible unless the musket were to be disassembled.
This stock is in great condition with no damage other than a slight chip near the nose cap.
Original, full length Civil War-era stocks are incredibly rare - this is the first full length musket stock we've had in over 10 years. Don't wait on this one!!
