Description
Here's a great "Hawken-Style" .36 caliber half stock rifle built sometime during the latter half of the 19th Century.
It features a nice, solid American Walnut stock which is in great condition with no chips, cracks, or other damage.
The barrel is in great condition and features nice deep rifling with no major rust or pitting. This rifle would make for a great "squirrel gun". The barrel is signed by the gun's maker - "E. J. Baker".
The lock was made by Goulcher. It functions well and features some light engraving. A set of original custom made double set triggers provide ignition for the lock. They are in very good condition and function perfectly.
This is a great, inexpensive Original gun for fur trade rendezvous or other living history, all for less than the price of an Italian reproduction!
