Description

This first generation Parker Hale was made in the 1970's by Parker Hale of Birmingham, England. These English-made reproductions are renowned for their quality parts and finishes, like real English walnut stocks and historically-accurate bone charcoal color case hardening. Additionally, this particular Parker Hale has been further upgraded with the addition of a custom match-grade barrel by Jerry Harmon and Bill Large. Harmon-Large barrels are renowned for their accuracy and have reached near mythical status among N-SSA skirmishers.

The lock is in good shape with most of its original color case hardening. The hammer holds solid with a positive half and full cock. The stock is in solid shape with several handling marks but no cracks or chips. The Harmon-Large barrel has been full glass bedded for accuracy and fits the stock.

The bore is excellent with sharp rifling and no rust or pitting.

The furniture is all intact and original and a "tall shooter" front sight has been added to the muzzle for point-of-aim shooting at 50 yds. The front sight is protected by a removable nylon sight protector.

Included with this rifle is an English style leather sling.
