Description

This Belgian Piedmonteese M1844/60 is in great condition. It is one of 2,000 muskets that was purchased by the Federal government in 1862. It is in great condition with an excellent condition stock with no cracks or splits.

The lock holds solid on both full and half cock and the barrel is full length. The bore is very good with no pitting and only a few areas of light surface rust.

The furniture is all original, including the ramrod.
