Here's an extremely rare London Model 1851 Colt Navy Revolver. This revolver shows a lot of use but is all complete and original.

The action works but is a bit rough. The arbor is is a bit loose. As a result, the barrel wobbles a bit. One of the "ears" of the back strap is broken, and the grips show a repaired crack in the right side.

Despite these issues, this revolver is a great collector's piece. It was produced in May of 1856; making it one of only 40,000 guns that was produced in the United States for sale through Colt's London office. The barrel has a great legible address which reads -ADDRESS COL. COLT LONDON-. The cylinder bears its original matching serial number, a full set of London proofs (all Colts sold in the UK had to be proofed at the London Proof House).

All the serial numbers match with the exception of the wedge which appears to be a period replacement.

The grips are original and in good shape.
