This rifle is an excellent copy of the famous "Berdan" Sharps Rifle. These reproduction rifles were produced by the Shiloh Sharps Company in Farmingdale New York-that's right, this beauty is all American-made! Shiloh produced these rifles for only a few years until they relocated their factory to its current location in Big Timber, Montana.

This particular Berdan is in fantastic condition. The bluing is near perfect on the barrel and the color case hardening is near perfect.

The stocks are both in near perfect with only a few minor handling marks here and there.

The lock functions perfectly on both full and half cock with a great crisp action. The breech block seals tightly against the breech and the action is as smooth as silk. The bore is excellent with absolutely no rust or pitting and wonderfully sharp rifling.

Shiloh Sharps are highly sought after for their American quality. This Berdan is among the rarest of the Sharps varieties that Shiloh offered. Don't let this one get away.
