Description
This beautiful Snider Commercial Musket is about as nice as they come! All original from top to bottom, this British breech loader would be a great choice for any shooter or collector.
The stock is excellent. There are no cracks or chips anywhere and the lock panels are beautifully crisp and sharp.
The hardware is in fantastic condition with 70% of the original bluing remaining on the barrel and receiver while traces of color case hardening are still visible on the lock.
The bore is very good with crisp rifling and no rust or pititng. The toggle action of the breech block is smooth and the lock up is nice and solid.
The furniture is all original and all matching. This wonderful Snider is in pristine condition; a wonderful example of early breechloading technology.
