This beautiful Snider Conversion Musket is about as nice as they come! All original from top to bottom, this British breech loader would be a great choice for any shooter or collector.

The stock is excellent with all of its original finish remaining and wonderfully crisp cartouches. The buttstock proudly bears a Royal Manufactory Enfield Roundel with a First Class mark; meaning that this was a top quality rifle when it was built some 140 years ago. There are no cracks or chips anywhere and the lock panels are beautifully crisp and sharp. The stock also has a "Dominion of Canada" "DC" stamp on the left side of the butt.

The hardware is in fantastic condition with must of its original blued and case hardened finish which has mellowed to a beautiful "plum" colored patina with age.

The bore is excellent with nice crisp rifling. The toggle action of the breech block is smooth and the lock up is nice and solid.

The furniture is in great condition and all matching. This wonderful Snider is in great condition; a wonderful example of early breechloading technology.
