Description

Here's an excellent example of the "greatest battle implement ever devised" - the venerable M1 Garand. This particular Springfield-made Garand is in great shape. Its serial number places its date of manufacture in late December, 1943. It features correct WWII parts, with a great barrel and original "late war" green web sling.

It also features a correct, original Walnut stock (not a modern Boyd's/CMP replacement stock, or post War birch stock). The stock is in great shape and is structurally excellent with no cracks, chips or soft spots.

The action functions correctly and the receiver features great arsenal parkerizing and no pitting or rust.

The .30-06 barrel features great, sharp rifling with no rust or pitting.

This M1 would make for a great shooter, or reenactor rifle.
