Here's a great looking Whitney M1841 which is all original with the exception of a reproduction ramrod.

The lock is in good condition with a solid half and full cock. The lock plate markings are faint, but mostly legible. The stock has a couple dings and dents but is very solid with no chips, cracks, or rotten spots. The original inspector's cartouches can still be seen on the lock panel.

The barrel is full length and in great shape with clear markings at the breech and no pitting around the bolster. Both front and rear sights are present and original. The barrel is still .54 caliber; making this a nice, untouched pre-war musket. The bore is good with strong rifling and some light scattered pits in the grooves of the rifling.

The furniture is all matching and functional.
