Original mainspring for the 1816 Springfield/Harper's Ferry percussion musket.
*A note about springs: We test all of our springs, whether reproduction or original, against poor tempering, cracks, or other defects to insure proper functionality and lasting durability. However, improper installation or abuse can/will cause any spring to fail. For these reasons we cannot accept the return of any broken or damaged springs for refund/replacement.
