Description

Here's a great Remington Rolling Block rifle. This rifle was made under contract for the New York State militia and as result is chambered in 50-70 govt.

The action is very crisp. The hammer locks back solid with each "click" and the breech block fits securely in the receiver without any wobble.

The stock ware both nice with only a few minor handling marks and no cracks or splits. Several original inspector's cartouches can be found on the butt stock.

The barrel is full length and the bore is in good shape with strong rifling and only a few areas of minor "frost pitting".
