Description

This Brunswick rifle is all original and in great condition. It features a very shootable .70 caliber 2 groove rifled barrel.

The lock is in great shape and has a reliable action with a crisp half and full cock.

The stock is very good with a few minor handling marks and only one minor chip missing from the toe of the butt stock (see photos).

The barrel is full length with a smooth patina and no external pitting. Both front and rear sights are original and unmodified; as is the bayonet lug.

The bore is dirty, but in good condition. Light surface rust and can be found throughout the bore, but most should clean out with a bore brush and some elbow grease. The original 2 groove "belted ball" rifling is deep and crisp.
